Common Questions:

Q: Where do you get your parts from?

A: I buy Firebirds and Trans Am's for parts monthly.  I take only the best parts off the cars.  If there is a piece that is questionable, it remains on the car when it goes to the junk yard.  There is no reason to sell parts that are as good or worse then what you are replacing.

Q: If I am in the New Jersey area, can I come to see your location?

A: Just call for directions.  I am happy to let you browse.

Q: Do you do full restorations at your location?

A: Not at this time.  I send all of my body work to Shore Collision in Neptune City New Jersey. You can contact them at (732) 775-2117.  They are very skilled in restoring classic autos. They have had many trophy winning cars come out of their shop.

Q: How do you ship your parts?

A: I use the US Postal service and UPS.  I have shipped parts as far as  Australia.

Q: If there is a problem with the item I have purchased, can I return it for a full refund?

A: Yes.  Contact me with the problem and send the piece(s) back to me and I will refund the full price of the item you bought, minus the shipping cost.

-Tip Of The Month-

If your power window switch is not working properly, here's a quick fix that might save you from buying a new one. This also works for power lock switches too.

Tools needed

Pencil with eraser - Flathead screwdriver - small hammer

Ready?

Remove the switch from the center console. Disconnect the harness from the switch. Now turn it over.  There are two bent in tabs holding the plastic inside together. Using the screwdriver blade and the small hammer, tap the tabs out so you can remove the innards from the outside housing. On the top side of the piece, there is a copper metal contact. Use the eraser end of the pencil to clean the copper. You should get some shine from rubbing.  Now put it back into the housing the same way you removed it.  Gently tap the tabs back over the plastic inner piece. Install it back into the console after you plug the harness back in.  You should have power windows again and it cost you about 10 minutes of your time and no money.
